Help a buddy out.

Koroks are back in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the first one you meet needs help crossing a gap to reach his friend. You will encounter many more Koroks separated from their friends throughout Tears of the Kingdom, but this guide will help you solve the first Great Sky Island Korok reach his friend.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to help the Great Sky Island Korok reach his friend

Like all of the puzzles in Tears of the Kingdom, there are multiple ways to reunite this Korok with his friend. While there may be many ways to reunite these Koroks, I recommend using a log and a hook. Keep it simple.

First, you’ll need to use Ultrahand to attach the Korok to the log. You can grab the Korok backpack and attach it to anything which is why there are so many options for reuniting Korok friends.

After attaching the Korok to the log, attach the log to a hook. Then, use Ultrahand to hang the hook on the rail. Finally, jump onto the log and use the rail to get yourself and the Korok to the other side.

Once the log hook vessel has reached the other side, grab the Korok’s backpack with Ultrahand and shake the right analog stick to unstick it from the log. To finish this mini-quest, place the backpack Korok near his friend. Talk to the friend Korok and you’ll receive two Korok Seeds.

Korok Seeds were used in Breath of the Wild to increase your inventory size. You’ll use the Korok Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom for the same thing, so get as many as you can and cash them in later.
