Before you leave

Before you leave the Inn in Darkest Dungeon 2, I do have a few tips for your brief time in sanctuary. Do not simply rush through the Inn, they are important places in which to bolster your squad. Make sure you have checked the bonus each Inn supplies. This can be viewed at the top right of the screen, next to the name of the Inn.

Furthermore, it is advisable to check the shop, they often offer great supplies for the road, and even highly valuable trinkets. These stops can be the difference between success and failure. I have found many a good bargain on the shelves of an Inn.

One last thing you must do before leaving is use your skill point on your team. Without boosting some of your favorite attacks, you will be scuppered in the coming battles. I learned this the hard way, don’t make the same mistakes I did.
