Can you move your village in LEGO Fortnite?

To form a village in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to place down a Village Square, commonly referred to as the village center. Upon doing so, a large square border is placed around it, and anything built in that square will contribute to the village rating and can be used by the villagers.

If you want to move your village somewhere else, then you may think that you need to destroy the village center and move it somewhere else, right?

Well, right now, what happens is that the village remains established and remains at the same level. Upon placing the Village Square, it seems the village is established, and the square is not needed for the village to exist. You can move the Village Square to a different location in the village, but the village will remain. The new Village Square will become the level of the village upon placement.

So, right now, there is no way to remove a village in LEGO Fortnite. We are unsure whether this is a bug, or whether this is the intended process, but if you want to move the village, you’ll actually have to make a completely new one somewhere else.

Considering that you can’t place a new Village Square anywhere near another village, this makes it difficult to reach a more preferred area without having two separate villages existing, and if your preferred area is close to the former village, then you simply can’t have one exactly where you want it.

Will you be able to move your village to LEGO Fortnite soon?

Considering that this is a common problem being raised by the players, it would seem unlikely that Epic Games would ignore this issue.

I would imagine that moving a village would take the form of a button in the Village Hub in the Village Square, to either ‘move’ or ‘destroy’ the village. It seems like such a small addition that would significantly improve people’s experiences with the game. Until then, however, be careful where you place your villages.
