Where to go in the Labyrinth in Remnant 2

Accessing the Labyrinth level in Remnant 2 requires you to have beaten your first boss. Arriving in the new Labirynth level will place you in front of a pedestal, ready to receive something. It will be up to you to navigate this maze and find what you are looking for.

Making your way around the Labyrinth

Something I initially got stuck on in the level was actually navigating around the map. The game, in its traditional fashion, doesn’t give much in the way of hints. I discovered myself faced with a sheer drop, one portal, and not a lot else. Going through the portal faced me with a door that would not open.

The door itself acts as a shortcut through the map as you progress. You will notice a white square in the middle of the door. You must shoot the white square to unlock the door. As you make your way through the Labyrinth, these doors will mark the way forward and points for shortcuts. You can only get through doors you can approach from the side with the white block on it.

Many areas on the map will not look like points of progress. However, as you approach the ledges, you will notice that a bridge will form. Make your way over these bridges to progress to the next area.

Remnant 2 Enemies

Throughout the Labyrinth in Remnant 2, you will come up against a few different enemies. The most common are the small Rock Golems. They’re honestly pretty cute but can pose a threat. They will charge and punch you if possible. You can quickly dispatch them by shooting the white block in their faces.

Flying rocks will also come at you out of nowhere. These balls of stone are almost impervious to damage until they open up to attack. Once they are ready to attack, they will reveal a white glowing orb in the middle of their shell. Shoot this until it closes up.

Walking piles of rubble will also seek you out to turn you to Remnant paste. These guys have a big area of effect damage and can slam the ground making large shockwaves. You can dodge roll through these, but be careful which way you move. If you get close to these Labirynth guardians, they will hammer you with their fists. Shoot at the white circle to the right of their heads.

Labyrinth Arenas

As you progress through the Remnant 2 level, opening up shortcuts as you go, you will eventually come to boss battle areas. The first one comes after your third portal jump. You will be faced with a veil over the area that you must progress through to continue with the area.

In this area, you need to shoot the white floating square in the middle of the arena. This will spawn three waves of Remnant 2 Labyrinth enemies, each getting more powerful than the rest. Use your environment to block the incoming attacks and use the breaks in damage to heal up. Once the three attacks are over, you will be awarded with the Amplitude trait.

Stepping through to the next area will reward you with the Master Portal Key. Now, bring this back to the pedestal in the first area. This will unlock the final area in which you will fight the Remnant 2 Labyrinth Sentinal. If you’re having trouble with this innovative and interesting enemy, try our guide.
