Are you wondering how to solve the Council Tribunal puzzle in Remnant 2 so you can correctly choose the imposter council member? There are three council members: Savan, Oniril, and Nyele. When talking to them, share where you’re from and wait for them to ask for your help. Since you’re an outsider, you can provide an unbiased perspective for their investigation since one member is a fake. However, it’s important not to make unfounded accusations. Instead, follow our guidelines to identify the imposter council member correctly.
Which council member should you accuse in Remnant 2?

You will know which council member you should accuse in Remnant 2 by following these steps:
- Travel to the Dark Realm version of the Council Chamber
- Match the High Council Keys to the reflections in the water based on their color
- Inspect the Assassin’s Dagger to find the symbol located on the bottom of the pommel
- Return to the council chamber and select the “I’m ready to make an accusation” dialogue choice
- Pick the imposter council member by choosing the symbol you found when inspecting the Assassin’s Dagger
How to solve the Council Tribunal Key Puzzle in Remnant 2

After your conversation ends, leave the council chamber room and take a left. You are looking for a portal to transport you to the dark realm version of the council chamber. You can find this located on the map above.

Once in the dark realm, head back to the council chamber, but you’ll see no council members this time. Instead, you will see three colored tablets that are keys. You must solve this puzzle to open the door to the next room.

You can jump off the council chamber platform and head to the three thrones. To solve the Council Tribunal Key Puzzle in Remnant 2, you need to look at the reflections of the key in the water and match the actual keys to the reflection’s color.

You can pick up the keys by walking close enough to it and pressing the interact button. Then, once you have picked up all three keys, you can place them by interacting with the thrones again. Once you have placed the keys properly by matching the color to their reflections, the door behind the three thrones will open.

Head inside and walk to the right side of the throne. You will find a series of platforms you can use to climb to the top of the throne. Sitting on the ground is the Assassin’s Dagger. Pick it up and then inspect it from your inventory.

While inspecting the dagger, you want to rotate it to see the bottom of the pommel. The symbol you find here is how you know which council members are the imposter.
How to get the Ornate Blade in Remnant 2

Leave the dark realm, head back to the council chamber, and speak with the council members again. Pick the option “I’m prepared to make an accusation” dialogue choice.

You will be given three choices, and you must pick the imposter based on the symbol you found on the dagger. In the case of my game, Nyele aided the imposter, but this could be different in yours, so make sure you inspect the dagger if you haven’t already.

The chosen council member will then refute your choice, but you will have the option to “[Give dagger] I found this embedded in the One True King’s body.”

Pick this choice, and the imposter council member will be slain, and you will then be rewarded with the Ornate Blade for correctly choosing the imposter.
