In this particular instance, you are tasked with solving a puzzle that involves spinning four dials and matching each dial with its corresponding symbol. Unfortunately, with how randomized Remnant 2 is, the solution for this puzzle will vary from person to person. How to solve The Lament Plinth Puzzle in Remnant 2

To solve The Lament Dial Puzzle in Remnant 2, you need to find the book, check the color of the symbol inside the book, then match the color of the symbol in the book to the color of blankets on each sarcophagus to find the correct symbols to enter into the dial. I have verified with other Remnant 2 players at PC Invasion that the order you enter these symbols doesn’t matter. Once you have entered these symbols, the door will open for you.

During my playthrough, I found that the symbol in the book was black, so I checked every sarcophagus for a blanket with a black pattern. For each one I found, I remembered which symbol was above it. After that, I entered those symbols into the dial.

Remember, though, the game is randomized for each player, so the color of your symbol could be different. For example, if the symbol in your book is blue, you would use the symbols above the blankets with a blue pattern, instead of the black blanket shown in this guide.

I will direct you from the dial puzzle room to find the book. From here, turn left and head out of the room. Then, head down the stairs to the level below, where you’ll pass by a lever and turn right through the open door to the room with more sarcophaguses. After that, continue through the room until you see a path heading down into an alcove with many roots.
