Vampire Survivors is a furiously addictive Bullet Heaven game that’s constantly being updated. A recent patch has added a unique Cart Racing map. If you want to try it, here’s how to unlock the Carlo Cart stage in Vampire Survivors.
How to get the Hyper Carlo Cart level in Vampire Survivors
Players can unlock the Carlo Cart level by dealing 25120 damage with the train on the Laborratory stage. To unlock the Laborratory stage, you must collect 33 Rosaries. You can find these by breaking Light Sources, like Lamps, which have a small chance of dropping along with several other items. Rosaries are incredibly powerful as they instantly kill most enemies on the screen. Unfortunately, they are pretty rare, so collecting 33 will take multiple runs.
If you’re a veteran player, you’ve likely exceeded this quota already, and The Laborratory will unlock at the end of any run. You can quickly start a level and quit through the options menu if you want the unlock immediately.
How to deal damage with the Laborratory train
There’s a set of train tracks to the south of the Laborratory stage. Whenever you walk over a lever, the Train is called and will crush anything unfortunate enough to be on the tracks. This stage loops, so you can keep walking left or right down the tracks and will find unlimited levers to pull.
It’s also worth noting that the train can’t hurt you, so feel free to step on the tracks to stay safe. You can’t see how much damage the train has caused during a run, but I quit after 7 minutes and already had the required amount of damage. Once unlocked, you can select the Carlo Cart stage from the level selection.
What is the Carlo Cart stage in Vampire Survivors?
Carlo Cart is a bizarre stage where you constantly move in a cart. You can collect weapons as usual, but I recommend going for non-precision options, like the Runetracer. You can hit green arrows for a burst of speed, which may be handy later in a run.
As Carlo Cart is a bonus level, there are no unlocks tied to it. It feels quite different from regular Vampire Survivors, but you won’t miss much if you don’t enjoy it.
One of the best things about Vampire Survivors is the massive roster, but not all characters are created equal. Fortunately, the Carlo Cart stage is easy to unlock regardless of who you use as the Train does the heavy lifting for you.
