Who thought you would ever be mates with a Creeper?

Mobs are essential in Minecraft Legends! Without your mob you can’t destroy buildings, you’re vulnerable, and you’ll get picked off before you realize. Amassing a good mob will ensure you’re tearing down Piglin structures and are almost invulnerable to attack. There are many types of mobs available, from creepers to bone men. When you know how to unlock mobs in Minecraft Legends, you’ll have an entourage not to be messed with.

How to unlock mobs in Minecraft Legends!

You will initially be given two types of mobs. The first two mobs you get are focused on the essentials: Long-range Piglin damage and building destruction. These two will carry you for a while until the Piglins start becoming a little more feisty. Then you receive the next two, these are given when you unlock your first resource collection tower and focus on stun and healing. You now have your four base mobs.

How to unlock advanced mobs

To unlock the Skeletons, Creepers, and Zombies you will need to take a few extra steps. These three mobs are well worth getting your hands on. They each specialize in an area of wonton destruction. Skeletons have the upper hand on ranged attacks, Zombies are an unstoppable hoard against ground troops, and the Creepers do what they do best. They blow up.

  • Creepers – You will need to unlock the coal resource to unlock Creepers
  • Zombies – Redstone is needed to unlock the Zombie mobs.
  • Skeletons – to unlock the Skeleton mob in Minecraft Legends, you will need to learn to farm Diamond.

Once you have found these resources, you will be prompted to defeat an enemy laying siege to the relevant mob. Next, you will see this located on your map. Of course, don’t expect an easy fight. Defeating the Piglin hoard and destroying their portal will allow you to build the saved mob. Finally, this permanently unlocks the mob in Minecraft Legends!
