To celebrate the reboot of the MechWarrior series, MechWarrior 4 will be released for free download.Veteran gamers who grew up with the Mech Warrior series on the PC will be pleased to hear that MechWarrior 4 will be re-released for free via MekTek.Net and BattleTech.com with the permission of Smith & Tinker. Not only is the core game going to be made available but all expansions will also be released free. This is a great way to celebrate 25 years of Battltech so keep your eyes on BattleTech.com.
