Fortnite Mending Machines Challenge locations

Fortnite Season 7 has arrived and brought another huge wave of new content with it. From being able to fly UFOs to open cosmic chests, the new season has brought the alien-themed content players expected. What hasn’t changed are the weekly challenges that Epic Games rolls out as part of the Battle Pass. Already, players have been tasked with accepting a quest from a payphone. Now, players need to buy a shield potion from a Mending Machine. Once you are familiar with the Mending Machine locations, you will have the Fortnite challenge completed in no time.

Mending Machines are a new variant of the vending machines that featured in previous Fortnite seasons. The Mending Machines specifically offer healing items in exchange for gold bars.

Purchasing a shield potion from a Fortnite Mending Machine

Mending Machine locations can be found all around the map in Fortnite. Shield potions cost a total of 30 gold for small shield potions and 120 gold to get the large shield potions. If you are low on gold bars, there are many ways you can earn them. You can accept tasks from NPCs, search vending machines, and more. Shields are quite cheap, so it should be easy enough to buy a shield after playing a few matches and completing tasks. It also doesn’t matter which potion you purchase, so you may choose to go with the cheaper option.

You will earn 30,000 XP for buying a shield potion from a Mending Machine in Fortnite. This challenge is definitely worth completing, as it will give your battle pass a strong boost early on. At the same time, you will be able to get your hands on some shield potions for your current match. Also, with the amount of Mending Machines around the map, you should not bump into too many opponents with the same idea as you, making it one of the easier challenges to tick off.
