Best Buy RTX restock

While new graphics cards remain almost impossible to find at MSRP, every month or so, Best Buy gives gamers a chance at picking one up. As such, Best Buy is about to hold another major restock of Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards nationwide tomorrow on August 26.

The news initially came from a GPU restock monitor account which claimed that the restock would take place at that time. After being asked about it on Twitter, Best Buy eventually did confirm that the drop was indeed happening. However, the company did also warn customers that there are limited quantities only available in select stores. With many states only having one local store getting restocked, you may need to drive out further than usual this time around for a chance at picking up an RTX 30 Series graphics card.

You’ll have to wait in line

While simply walking into your local Best Buy and picking up an RTX 3080 off the shelves sounds nice, you’ll still have to be quicker than most to secure a card. Those looking to snag a brand-new graphics card at a killer price will have to wake up extra early tomorrow.

Best Buy staff will hand out tickets to customers starting 7:30 AM, and the stores will open at 8 AM local time. However, you’ll still want to be there ahead of time to maximize your chances of securing a graphics card. All customers who receive a ticket are guaranteed a graphics card, while those who were less fortunate will likely miss out on this drop. Also, customers will be limited to one graphics card each, regardless of which SKU they pick up.

You can check out the full list of participating locations on Best Buy’s website. Just select your state using the dropdown menu to reveal which local Best Buy stores are about to restock on the Nvidia RTX 30 Series graphics cards.

And while you’re out combing the streets for a new graphics cards, you might as well check Micro Center as well if you are able to happen upon one. The last time we visited a location, it had over 100 AMD Radeon 6600 XTs in stock. Nvidia 30 Series cards are more difficult to come by, but you never know what you may find.
