Cloud gaming has finally arrived in the UK as OnLive is switched on.
The on-demand gaming service has now launched in the UK. The service launches with 150 titles which can be played on HDTV, PC or Mac.
To get the service started BT (OnLive’s official partner) are offering three months free access to 100+ games to five million broadband customers. User’s broadband allowance will not be affected by OnLive traffic until the New Year no matter which option package they are on.
OnLive has also partnered with retailers GAME and Gamestation to provide systems to consumers as well as wireless controllers and digital redemption codes.
UK launch promotions include:

 First-time OnLive purchasers can get their first OnLive PlayPass Game for just £1, a £39.99 value
BT broadband customers can get 100+ PlayPack Games for FREE for 3 months in addition to the OnLive PlayPass £1 game offer, a £20.97 value

For a limited time only, new UK members can pick up their first OnLive title for £1 and BT will be offering three months of the OnLive 100+ Game PlayPack FREE to BT broadband and BT Infinity customers.
