The wireless adapter that links the Xbox One controller with your Windows PC has been released this week in North America and the UK. The adapter connects to your PC via USB (2.0 or 3.0) and can support up to eight Xbox One controllers at the same time.
Previously, the only way to use an Xbox One controller with a PC game was to connect the controller through a micro-USB cable. This method will still be prevalent for some user however, as the wireless adapter is only functional with Windows 10 operation system. Microsoft has also made efforts to better connect the Xbox One console with the new OS. Users can now stream their Xbox One games to Windows 10 PCs, as well as utilize a cross-platform play function in upcoming titles.
The Xbox One controller adapter is available now for $25 (£20) across online and retail stores.
