Since this goal involves you running around Coffee World, figuring out what to find and where to look can be confusing. Let me explain how to complete this Overlap ritual.

Alan Wake 2: How to finish the Overlap ritual with the Workshop Parade Float

Upon arriving at the Kalevala Knights Workshop, you’ll soon discover that there are four missing pieces to the Parade Float. Once you acquire them, you can enter the Overlap to find the Clicker. How you complete the Parade Float Overlap ritual in Alan Wake 2 is by finding these four items at these locations:

  • Moose Skull Mask – The well
  • Toy Puukko Knife – The Gift Shop
  • Circuit Board – Espresso Express
  • Cassette Tape – Fair Trade Fun Zone

Note: Before trying to find these items, make sure to discover all the clues on the Parade Float. Then, go to your Mind Place and piece them together. If you don’t do this, some items won’t show up for you.

Moose Skull Mask

First off, head over to the well to find the Moose Skull Mask. Once you figure out that it should be at the well on your Case Board, it’ll appear for you.

Just grab the Moose Skull Mask, and walk right over to the Parade Float. Place it on the head of the cut-out, and you’re done!

Toy Puukko Knife

Apparently, this knife is somewhere at the Gift Shop. Easy enough, right? Sort of. You may find some Taken along the way, lurking around and waiting to attack you.

That’s really the only obstacle in your way. Because once you make it inside the Gift Shop, head over to the counters along the walls, and you’ll spot the Toy Puukko Knife.

Circuit Board

Finding this item is probably the trickiest of them all. Walk over to Espresso Express, one of the many rides at Coffee World. Currently, the ride isn’t working, and you’ll need to place a Fuse inside the Fuse Box. Similarly to the Fuse from the Witch’s Hut, this Fuse isn’t too far away from the Parade Float.

I already picked up the Fuse at this point, but if you haven’t just head back to the Workshop by the Parade Float. Inside the Break Room, which is also the cult’s hideout, is the Fuse sitting on a table!

Just slot it in, and walk up on the ride to press the red button. This will start it up, but here comes the tricky part. It’s spinning pretty fast, and you need to stop it at the right time to get an opening underneath the ride.

It took a couple tries, but I stopped it as soon as the opening appeared. It’ll start to slow down, and the ride will halt right where the opening is.

Now, just hop down, and crawl underneath to grab the Circuit Board. Unfortunately, the ride suddenly starts running again, and you’ll need to keep crawling to the exit. Just leave the ride as it is, you can’t stop it from running.

Cassette Tape

Lastly, you just need to find the Cassette Tape at the Fair Trade Fun Zone. Look on your map to find this carnival minigame area. Also, keep an eye out for some Taken. I was jumped by a few in this area and they spooked me.

After you defeat all the Taken nearby, listen to the audio playing. Follow the trail of the laughing audio track, and behind a cardboard cut-out is the Cassette Tape attached to the back. Take the creepy laughing tape back to the Parade Float, and place all the items into their respective spots.
