Where to find the Tiefling Traitor in Pathfinder Wrath of The Righteous

A den of thieves.

Early on in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, you’ll be able to recruit Woljif in the tavern’s cellar. Shortly thereafter, he’ll tell you about the hideout of the Thieflings (basically Tieflings that are also thieves). However, something’s amiss, and it looks like someone tipped off the guards. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you find the Tiefling Traitor as part of the Stolen Moon quest for Woljif.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Where to find the Tiefling Traitor for the Stolen Moon quest

To find the Tiefling Traitor for the Stolen Moon quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, you’ll have to agree to aid Sister Kerismei when you visit the hideout. Then, take a good look at the suspects, but don’t make any rash decisions yet.

The next steps are fairly straightforward:

  • Go back to Defender’s Rest and talk to Irabeth about the informant. This will reveal the location of the Ancientries and Wonders Shop, the place that was ransacked.
  • Travel to that location and check the main room. Here, you’ll find Finnean the Talking Weapon. He’s a companion of sorts, but he just transforms into a particular armament, useful for the early stages of the game.
  • The Pipefox item is also here. It grants +3 insight bonus on Knowledge (Arcana) checks and +2 insight bonus on Perception checks.
  • You can talk to the remains of the golem sentry. Use the password “Hand of Irori” and have it describe the shop’s visitors.
  • Interact with the golem for an Athletics check and drop down the ladder to the basement. You’ll meet the proprietor, who’s got a speech check for Bluff or Intimidate. Pass either of these and you’ll learn about the suspect.

Based on the information from Irabeth, the golem, and the shop owner, you’ll realize that the culprit is the red-haired tiefling who’s wearing a green cloak. Return to the hideout and talk to Sister Kerismei. When presented with the choices, say that the person in question is none other than Melroun.

After a short scene, you’ll successfully accuse the Tiefling Traitor for the Stolen Moon quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Likewise, you can pass the Diplomacy check to receive the Thieflings Vault Key. Use it on the nearby metal gate to obtain the Ring of Sharp Strike. It has the following effect: Shoot and hit an enemy engaged in melee combat so it suffers a -1 penalty to attack rolls for one round.
