PS3 Gamers Play DC Universe ‘More Often’

The game designer behind Sony’s MMO DC Universe Online has revealed PS3 gamers spend more times playing the title than PC users.
New figures show that 45 per cent of DC Universe Online players are on PS3, with 55 per cent on PC. However, of those, PS3 gamers tend to play the game more often, though for shorter periods, says Chris Cao.
“PS3 gamers tend to play more overall,” DC Universe Online game designer Chris Cao said. “But their session lengths are shorter.
“The average PS3 session is one to one and a half hours – maybe two hours. The typical PC session is usually two to three hours.”
He added: “We want to add more stuff to the game on a monthly basis. We want to add stuff that people want and we have a robust series of metrics to measure that.”
