We’re going to give Reef Entertainment the benefit of the doubt that Rambo: The Videogame is going to be a fantastic action title at this point but it’s not exactly looking great.
However, if you love the character Rambo then you’ll be pleased to know that the game will be released on 21 February here in Europe. North American gamers are going to have to wait until some time in Q1 for their own version of the game.
The game follows Rambo on his adventures through the jungle borrowing “iconic action-sequences and story-arcs” from the three movies, which let’s face it, were not the best action movies ever made.
Pre-ordering the game will give you one of two limited edition figurine which are hand painted and around three inches in size. These will be your own mini Rambo figure with a Rambo weapons and costume.
Although the game isn’t out yet, DLC is already planned by developer Teyon so I hope for their sake the game is at least half decent.
