With Modern Warfare 3 upon us, Sledgehammer Games have decided once again to revamp the season pass. All new ways to earn rewards and gear up with unique cosmetics become available.
We can expect to see the release of the new season pass once the current one comes to an end. This will be in December. A lot of the rewards in the Modern Warfare 3 season pass will be free to players. However, if you would like to upgrade, you can also purchase the full pass for 1,100 CP for access to more rewards. For even more involvement, there is now a Blackcell pass available.
How does the battle pass work in Modern Warfare 3?
Unlike other seasons, this new battle pass is going to be broken up into tiers. Now, rather than just progressing in a linear manner through the various rewards, you must now complete sectors and choose the path you take. This means that you can prioritize rewards rather than just getting the same unlocks as everyone else.
You must claim a High-Value Target in each sector to move on to the next. The next sector can only be unlocked if it is adjacent to one previously unlocked. It sounds complex, but it really isn’t.
What is Blackcell in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3)
Blackcell is the ultimate season pass package for the dedicated Modern Warfare 3 player. It costs a solid $29.99 but comes with a ton of instant unlocks, including the whole Blackcell kit and enough currency to buy next season’s pass without completing the current one.
The Blackcell pass offers tons of tier skips, meaning you will have access to all the season pass content with a lot less work and before anyone else. Along with the speedy unlocks you also have access to 10 Operator skins alternatives, six Weapon Blueprints with Tracers, and two Vehicle skins.
Despite being incredibly expensive, it does come with a lot of extra cosmetics that show off your love for the game. If you want to really stand out on the field, then this may be the season pass for you in Modern Warfare 3.
