The latest but probably not last release of Modern Warfare 3 comes with two different editions. This is relatively low in comparison to a lot of the games on the market. Modern Warfare 3 comes with a Vault Edition and the Standard Edition; there are a few differences to both.
Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition and Standard
The two different versions of modern warfare offer different things. There is a thirty-dollar difference between the two editions. However, it is up to you to decide whether the extra cash is worth it.
This is the most expensive edition of Modern Warfare 3. It costs a total of $99.99 for the whole thing, which is a considerable wedge of money. With this edition, you will receive:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III
- Early Access to the Campaign
- Zombie Ghost Operator Skin
- Soul Harvester Tracer Weapon Blueprint
- Nemesis Operator Pack
- 2 Weapon Vaults
- BlackCell (1 Season) + 30 Additional Tier Skips
The Vault edition comes with 4 extras over the standard edition. The majority of these, including the Nemesis Operator Pack and Nemesis Operator Pack, are cosmetics. However, the Blueprints are for a weapon, which is a clear advantage.
Of course, with the Vault Edition of Modern Warfare 3, you will receive the battle pass and skips. Along with these bonuses come 2 weapon vaults that offer the chance to get your hands on some extra goodies.
Standard Edition (Cross-Gen/Standard)
Also, for the price of $69.99 you can get the standard version. You will receive everything in the Vault Edition minus the Blueprint, Nemesis pack, weapon vaults, and Battlepass. Pre-ordering the game is a bit of a touch point for gamers as it often encourages bad developer practices. However, if you really cannot wait for the game, the standard edition of Modern Warfare 3 comes with early access.
You will be able to play this game cross-generation and cross-platform. This means when you buy it for one console, you will have it for all of them.
