The new content has hit the servers in time for Funcom’s special End of Days in-game event which gets underway on 21 December, assuming the world has not exploded of course.

The event will offer “new challenges” and players will be rewarded for their efforts in stopping the “tide of this rising darkness”. The dead will be rising from their graves so you can expect to take on hordes of Mayan zombies as three harbingers roam the earth wreaking chaos and destruction. Then there’s the challenge of taking on the fearsome looking God of the Nine Underworlds.

Joel Bylos returns with another video to trail Issue #5 and explains all the new content. Don’t forget to check out today’s interview with Joel in which he talks about the game’s new subscription system.
