When you begin Remnant 2, you’ll be given some weapons for you to begin your journey, and as you arrive in Ward 13, you’ll meet some vendors who can sell you weapons for a price. As you progress through the game, it gets progressively harder, and the natural outcome of facing some adversity in this world is go and grab yourself a new weapon right? Well, maybe so. But only if you fancy changing your weapon, because upgrading your weapon is also a viable strategy. Let’s dive into why each one can be useful.

Going to buy a new weapon in Remnant 2 can be done when speaking to the weapons vendor near the firing range. When you go and buy yourself a new weapon, you’re paying to essentially change the type of gun you have, so buying weapons is essentially all about trading off for a different type of weapon. So if you fancy an automatic weapon, or a weapon with a larger magazine, you can buy one for yourself. It doesn’t necessarily mean the weapon will be better than what you have now, as most of the weapons are simply different types for you to then go and upgrade. Which we can talk about now.

Upgrading your weapons in Remnant 2 is something that you should always be doing when you go back to Ward 13, as it simply makes the weapon more powerful, meaning it’s just better for getting past harder enemies.
