While most of the new content is located in the dream worlds of Penacony, the initial Reverie area still has over a dozen chests to collect. As always, these chests will reward you with free Stellar Jades and other materials that will give you a headstart on building some of the new characters added in version 2.0 like Black Swan and Sparkle.

There are only four chests to find on the first floor of The Reverie in Honkai Star Rail. The entrance to The Reverie is wide open and spacious, so you shouldn’t have any issue locating these chests.

The second floor of The Reverie contains six more chests. As long as you explore every part of the floor to fill in the map, you’ll find all of the chests easily. They’re not particularly hidden.

On the third floor of The Reverie, you can find the final six chests for the area. You won’t be able to obtain them all when you first reach the area, however. The two locked doors on the western side of the floor require story progression in order to unlock them. The first door opens after completing the quest “Cosmic Star,” while the second quest opens after completing “The Trees as Peace.” Just keep working through the main Penacony storyline and you’ll eventually reach these missions.

Collecting all of the chests in The Reverie is easy, but the other Penacony zones are much more complex. Golden Hour, for example, is home to a whopping 32 chests. The other Dreamscapes of Penacony, like Dream’s Edge, are also home to several dozen chests. There’s a lot of work ahead if you want to get them all, but you’ll be rewarded with a ton of free Stellar Jades and other valuable resources if you go through the trouble of collecting them.j
