Top marks: Mark of the Ninja to expand this summer

Last year, we inexplicably failed to review Klei’s Mark of the Ninja. Let me go some way towards making up for that here by saying it’s an exceptional 2D stealth title. It’s also going to be expanding to a ‘Special Edition’ through the medium of DLC.

That expansion isn’t priced yet, but it’s due “this summer” and will add (among other things,) non-lethal ways to disable your foes. So you don’t have to run through every minimum wage guard you see with a massive sword.

There’ll also be an additional level, told through flashback, and developer commentary. Read more about the additions here, or watch the trailer below. Maybe this release will be excuse enough for us to get an IncGamers review of the title on record.
