How to play the new Team Gunfight mode in MW3

Team Gunfight mode is available now as a limited-time offering. The mode is very similar to the previous Gunfight mode but comes with some little changes. Instead of the typical 2v2 mode, players will now go against each other with 6 players on each side.

Each of the players will be assigned the same random loadout at the beginning of the game. The loadout will change for everyone throughout the match. The winning objective remains the same as players need to wipe out the entire enemy team to win a round. If they are unable to do that, they can go for capturing the flag. If the flag is not captured as well within the given time, the team with the highest HP remaining will win the round.

The match is played on a first-to-six basis, which means the first team to win six rounds altogether will win the match. Each round will have 40 seconds just like the traditional Gunfight mode. Going on a 6v6 matchup in 40 seconds certainly does make this game mode a lot more intense and fast-paced.

The Team Gunfight mode brings in new excitement for the classic Gunfight lovers of MW3. The mode will help players adapt to different guns in the game. Players can push themselves outside their comfort zone and try out new guns to broaden their area of expertise. Moreover, the fast-paced gameplay requires more teamwork and communication among the players, which also adds some gravity to this mode.
