LEGO Fortnite: How to find bears and what do they drop

While bears aren’t technically farm animals, they’re new animals you can find in the wild that won’t play nice. In the Farm Friends update post, Epic Games warns players to not have the bears follow them back to the village, or else they can wreak havoc. You can find bears in LEGO Fortnite in the Grasslands and Frostlands biomes.

Since bears love caves, I’d presume that you could also find some sleeping in caves. You can avoid disturbing them if you’re quiet walking past them as they’re sleeping, but waking them up will cause them to attack you. By slaughtering bears you’ll earn a few pieces of meat, as well as a fish. This is probably because the bear eats fish for its diet.

Currently, there are two types of bears available. The normal bear, and the Arctic Bear. The normal bear was a decently tough fight to beat, but it wasn’t as tough as the Arctic Bear. You’ll want to bring along food and the proper gear to take on an Arctic Bear. Unfortunately, bears aren’t tameable and you can’t keep them in an Animal House.

I would also assume that having a bear follow you back to your normal animal farm is a terrible idea. They’d probably love a taste of your chickens, and maybe even your pigs. Kill them before they can hurt anyone else.

Besides bears, LEGO Fortnite’s Farm Friends update introduces farming animals such as chickens, cows, sheep, and pigs. You can raise these animals to produce different types of resources for you and your villagers.
