Warzone DMZ challenges Operators to complete a slew of dangerous missions across multiple large maps. Some of these are much more obtuse than they seem at first glance, and the Abandoned Vehicle mission is undoubtedly one of those. Let me show you where to find the MRAP Key in Warzone 2 DMZ and start completing those new Shadow Company tasks.
Where to find MRAP Key in Warzone 2 DMZ
The most straightforward way to get an MRAP Key is to buy one from a Buy Station. As the MRAP Vehicle is exclusive to Al Mazrah, you can only buy the Key there. The big issue is the MRAP Key is incredibly expensive at a whopping $200,000! Without a Wallet Expansion, you can only bring $100,000.
It’s not impossible to obtain $100,000 or more in a single DMZ run, but it’s especially difficult if you’re on your own. You can earn a ton of money by completing contracts, and you’ll have a much easier time if you’re in a squad. If you queue with a group, $200,000 is very achievable. Opening Safes and selling valuables are other decent ways to scrounge some extra cash across Al Mazrah.
Can I find the MRAP Key on the map?
The MRAP Key is an elusive item and seems to be a very rare drop. I’ve searched all across the map, including hot areas like Strongholds. So far, I am yet to obtain one. I can’t say exactly where to find one, but the Abandoned Vehicle task is written in a way that hints at the Key being on the map. I will update this guide when a location is found.
Where can I find an MRAP?
Once you’ve got the Key, it’s time to find the vehicle. Fortunately, they have a unique marker on the map. A quick look should reveal the closest one to your location.

This is the icon you’re looking for (pictured above). There’s no way to open the vehicle doors without the Key, so don’t waste your time traveling if you don’t have one. There are usually several MRAPs spread across Al Mazrah, so take your time and pick a safe one, even if it’s further away.
