Where to find the Missing Boots in Baldur’s Gate 3

Finding the missing boots.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a bunch of side content for you to spend your time chipping away at. You can spend time looting and hunting down random corners of the map, or you can spend time completing some of the game’s highly rewarding side quests. One such location that you can find some side content in is the Underdark. The Underdark is a massive expansive location underneath the map of Baldur’s Gate 3, which houses a few new enemy types and a few different decisions for you to make. One of these decisions is whether to side with the Sovereign or the Duergars down there, and the Duergars will ask you to go and return some boots from somewhere. Here’s our guide on where to find the Missing Boots in Baldur’s Gate 3.

When you receive this quest, you’ll be asked to find the Missing Boots and bring them back. They’re actually in a pretty easy location to find. You’ll find them in the Myconid colony, where you find the Sovereign, which you can see on the map below. This location is also where you can find the other side of a potential decision in Baldur’s Gate 3, as you can choose to side with the Sovereign or the Duergars.

Once you get into the Myconid colony, you will need to progress inside until you reach the raised platform where the Sovereign is. Once you reach there, you should see a character with the name Thulla lying on the ground near the start of this raised platform. This is the person who has the Missing Boots in Baldur’s Gate 3.

You’re going to need to talk to this person, and through conversation, you should be able to just have the option to take the boots from her. Now, when I selected this option, I thought there would be long-lasting ramifications for doing so, but it turns out they were still friendly to me after I removed the boots and healed them of their illness, so I don’t think there’s any long-lasting ramifications to just taking the boots.

After you collect the boots, you can take them back to the Duergar, and complete the quest.
