Tears of the Kingdom – where to find Trousers of the Hero

A lot of the coolest armor in the game lies well hidden within the intimidating darkness of the Depths. There’s no getting around it. To find the Trousers of the Hero, venture deep into the Depths and explore Corvash Canyon Mine south of Worihas Lightroot.

Start your search by entering Hyrule Ridge Chasm. You can find it west of the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower, right near Runakit Shrine. See the map screenshot above. Descend into the chasm to enter the Depths from a convenient access point.

As you descend, Tikanur Lightroot is plainly visible. Land on its pad and activate the Lightroot so you can easily fast travel to that point in the future.

Travel northwest from Tikanur Lightroot, keeping mostly north. You’ll soon reach a high wall ahead of you, and a Blue Hinox slumbering a short distance to your left. Along the wall, you can find a low ravine to pass through without waking the monster. On the far side of that ravine, head west and uphill through a long, wide canyon. You’ll finally arrive at Kawumoro Lightroot, which is partly hidden by a large ledge that mostly surrounds it.

From Kawumoro Lightroot, travel northwest to reach Worihas Lightroot. The path ascends sharply before passing through high canyon walls. On the north side of that canyon, you will descend a long way. Use your paraglider and enjoy your ride over the landscape to Worihas Lightroot.

When you arrive at Worihas Lightroot, turn around and head south. In this direction, you will continue to descend and enter Corvash Canyon Mine.

The treasure chest that contains the Trousers of the Hero waits a short distance into the mine, on a high platform to your right. The map screenshot above shows its exact location. Open the chest to acquire your reward.
