Lords of the Fallen dev Deck 13 offers Hideo Kojima a job

Will he? Won’t he? We’ll have to see if he takes them up on this offer.

Deck 13, who most recently released Lords of the Fallen, has officially offered Hideo Kojima a position at the studio following his departure from Konami and leaving the Metal Gear franchise behind. Although Kojima is leaving he is still very much involved with the development of  Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

“We currently have an open position at Deck 13 that would perfectly fit Mr. Kokima’s skills, so he will be delighted to hear about the job details”, Jan Klose, Creative Director at Deck 13, explains. “Mr Kojima can start right away, all the equipment he needs is already in place.”

The offer has been sent to Kojima and now Deck 13 will have to sit and wait to see if he accepts. Other candidates have applied for the position but it would be a boost for the studio if Kojima really did accept the offer, but this is really a bit of a publicity stunt for the sake of it.

With all the “equipment in place”, Deck 13 will be crossing their fingers that he doesn’t demand an in-office sauna, jacuzzi, beer on tap and a two hour working week should he actually accept a position.
