Activision has unveiled a new title in the True Crime series.

The game, revealed at the VGAs, will apparently be set in China and will tell the story of an undercover cop tasked with infiltrating the Triads. Simply called True Crime, there’s no subtitle implying we’re in reboot territory.

United Front takes over development duties from Luxoflux, which handled the two other games in the series, Streets of LA and True Crime: New York City.

Surprised to see True Crime back? The first two games had some interesting open-world ideas but were hampered with technical issues and, in the case of Streets of LA, a painfully annoying main character.

The new game looks suitably moody from the trailer and apparently features fighting, chasing and shooting. Which is nice.To find out what else was revealed at the VGAs, check out our run-down
