While probing a nearby planet, we found some screens of Wargaming’s Master of Orion “rebirth”.
It’s still not quite clear whether this “rebirth” means “we’re remaking the first game”, or “we’re using the license and making our own game which is sort of similar”, but I’m guessing it’s more the latter. Still, these screens do at least show that familiar races will be inhabiting the game’s galaxy.
The five screens below offer a look at a Human ship; the diplomacy screens when chatting to the Humans, the Sakkra, or the Bulrathi; and another space ship. Nothing major, but at least the diplomacy screens look nice.
Master of Orion is being developed by NGD Studios and is due out in the distant future. Hopefully before we actually colonise the stars, though.
