In news that could almost be an April Fools’ joke, it turns out that The Escapists The Walking Dead is a real game that is really happening.
The Escapists The Walking Dead blends the top-down pixel-art location-escaping of The Escapists with the zombie survival of The Walking Dead. Players take the role of Rick Grimes and have to find a safe escape route from each area, while trying to keep as many of the group alive as possible. I… have no idea quite how well that’s going to work, honestly.
The Escapists The Walking Dead is due out this year, with its debut happening at the Walker Stalker Fan Fest on 10 and 11 July, where people will be able to have a go at the Harrison Memorial Hospital level.
