Escape from Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov Gameplay Trailer shows moody FPS action

Escape from Tarkov looks like it could be fairly interesting because developer Battlestate Games are dubbing it a hardcore narrative MMO/FPS/RPG.

In the game players are thrown into a Russian city that has been “sunk into anarchy” and it looks seriously moody. The idea is to escape the city of Tarkov by overcoming the harsh city environments and challenges. The game also features character customisation with over 100 skills which is where the RPG elements come into play. The game will also include an AI controlled economy which can be influenced by players so expect to come across all kinds of useful objects.

In essence Battlestate are throwing everything at this with realistic ballistics, stealth operations, co-op missions, raids on enemy bases and more. It could turn out to be an FPS player’s dream game.

This is one of these games that could turn out to be engrossing to play and it also looks quite solid as you can see from the new action gameplay trailer that surfaced today. If you like what you see then check out the official site where there’s also a beta sign-up form.

Escape from Tarkov is due for release next year.
