World of Warcraft’s next expansion Legion is not too far away and Blizzard is preparing for its launch with what they are calling a pre-expansion patch.

During next week’s maintenance, a new patch will be rolled out which adds some of Legion’s “system-related features” to the current game. Changes will include class and transmogrification updates, preparation for pre-expansion events including the unlocking of the new Demon Hunter which will happen before or around the 17 August.
The Burning Legion will also be making an appearance with invasions as an assault on Azeroth begins. There’s plenty to look forward to before the expansion releases for everyone who is currently playing.
