Titanfall 2’s launch trailer is a touching piece about the love that can form between pilot and titan when they’re working together to blow things up. It’s called ‘Become One’, but for some baffling reason opts not to use the Spice Girls’ 2000 hit 2 Become 1 as its soundtrack. You missed a trick there, EA.

Instead, it digs into Cher’s back catalogue for an altered cover version of Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down); presented here as ‘My Titan Shot Him Down’. Titanfall 2 will be released on PC on 28 October.
Here’s the trailer, featuring lots of choreographed CG Titan fighting and the palpable bond between one man and his extremely powerful murder machine.
