Arc System Works’ addition to the Double Dragon series, Double Dragon IV, was announced towards the end of 2016, and has now been released on PC (through Steam). Billy and Jimmy Lee return, in an effort to punch all the bad men they can find. And probably kick them too.
The Lee bros just want to get on with establishing Dojos around the United States, but those damn Renegades and Black Warriors won’t let them. Clearly this won’t do.
Double Dragon IV has local multiplayer (split-screen), and a ‘Duel Mode’ in which you can face off one on one against (and as) various characters unlocked through playing the main game. There’s also a ‘Tower Mode’ where you need to defeat all enemies on a given screen to ascend to the next floor; at the top of the tower, there’s a boss to defeat.
