Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti launches on 10 March

Nvidia opted for a GDC presentation to unveil the ‘Ti’ version of their GTX 1080 card, revealing both price and launch date. The former will be $700 USD (for a reference card, at least), and the GPU will launch (again, reference versions) on 10 March.

11 is apparently the magic number for the GTX 1080 Ti, as it has both 11GB of VRAM and an 11Gbps framebuffer. It also has 3584 CUDA Cores, if you’re counting that sort of thing. Various specs, pretty pictures, and more of those traditional GPU graphs of dubious value can be found at Nvidia’s sub-site for the 1080 Ti.

In addition to properly revealing the Ti, Nvidia has given the standard 1080 a price cut. Those cards will now go for $500.
