DFC Intelligence has revealed in their latest report that PC games are now bigger than console games in terms of revenue. Much of this has been driven by MOBAs.

In particular, DOTA 2 and League of Legends are dominant in this space. Shooters, MMOs and strategy games have their space, but it really has been about MOBAs. DFC also reveals none of the top 20 games of 2013 were released that year, but newer games may start to gain traction starting Q1 of this year. DayZ, Rust, and Hearthstone have all popped up in that list.

DFC Intelligence sells their reports, so unfortunately we don’t have the numbers. If you are interested, you can get some more details here.
