Steam presentation about store updates now online in full

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Valve have been hosting presentations about upcoming changes to the Steam store, and one of those talks can now be watched online. The ‘Unite 2017’ version of the presentation (which seems pretty identical to the Indigo 2017 one, from which several slides leaked) is up on Unity’s YouTube channel.

You can see it in full, below. Valve’s Alden Kroll is hosting the talk, and (once he’s gone through the basics of the platform) gets on to the introduction of Steam Direct, upcoming changes to the UI, and other matters the company has been talking about of late. The talk also includes more details about how Steam will alter and expand the role of curators. Again, a subject they’ve touched on before in their client updates.

Here’s the video. It’s full of lots of lovely stats about Valve’s platform.
