PC gamers will be enjoying Destiny 2 via Blizzard’s Battle.Net (now Blizzard app) platform when it releases. Ahead of the PC release later this year, Bungie is already hooking up accounts with Blizzard.

Blizzard accounts can now be linked to Bungie.Net profiles. This is not a replacement but a link between Bungie and Blizzard ahead of PC gamers joining the action. Bungie’s FAQ states:

Bungie.net does not provide a method of resetting platform account passwords. These passwords must be changed through the support website of that platform, which are hyperlinked below. Once a platform account password has been changed, login to Bungie.net with your platform account credentials, using this new password.

To link accounts on Bungie.Net, head your account setting page and clicked the “Linked Accounts” section and click the Blizzard link button. For more on what this all means, check the FAQ on Bungie’s site. You can’t do much with it right now, but this will be useful for anyone taking the plunge with Destiny 2.
