South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole DLC outlined

A $30 ‘Season Pass’ for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been outlined by Ubisoft today. It has a pair of story-type DLCs in it, along with a ‘combat challenge’, costume pack, and (also the pre-order bonus) Towelie.

All of these look like they’ll be available individually too, and priced in such a way that the ‘Pass’ is only really worth it if you want absolutely everything it contains. The various DLC parts will be released throughout the end of 2017 and into 2018.

First up, the ‘Relics of Zaron’ costumes and perks pack ($5) will be released alongside South Park: The Fractured But Whole itself, on 17 October. Towelie’s stand-alone release ($2) will come a little later, on 24 October.

Doctor Timothy’s ‘Danger Deck’ will arrive in December 2017, bringing with it the “ultimate combat challenge”. Exclusive costumes and artifacts will be available in this one as rewards.

Then we’re into 2018, and actual story expansions. It’s not clear which order these will come in. The one listed first is ‘From Dusk till Casa Bonita’ ($12), which is clearly the South Park spin on the Rodriguez/Tarantino film. Except, you know, with Goth kids instead of vampires.

Finally, ‘Bring the Crunch’ ($12) says it will introduce a whole new superhero class. Plus another bit of stand-alone story.
