No Blizzcon would be complete without another World of Warcraft expansion being announced. This year it was World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth.
In this expansion Blizzard is putting the struggle between the Horde and Alliance at the forefront of the story. In Battle for Azeroth, The Horde and Alliance go head to head while seeking new allies to take control of the islands. While there are no new classes, there are new race variations for the Horde and Alliance with the Void Elf, Lightforged Draenei, Nightborne, Dark Iron Dwarves, Zandalari Trolls and Highmountain Tauren
New continents are being added to the world too, Kul Tiras for the Alliance which is the home of Jaina Proudmore, and the Troll island of Zandalar for the Horde. Other new features a level cap of 120, new dungeons and raids, and island expeditions where groups of three race against enemy players to collect island resources.
Co-op Warfronts are new to the expansion and groups of 20 will attempt to capture key locations It’s a PvE mode inspired by the Warcraft RTS.
