Announced at the game awards in between the billion promotions and adverts is a new 50v50 mode for Fortnite.

The mode is live right now and it involves the two teams battling it out as the circle closes in. The mode is only going to be available until 17 December so make the most of it while you can. The rules are as follows:
- Friendly Fire Off (But you will still see hit indicators.)
- Limited visibility of non-squad teammates.
- Squad VoIP only.
- You can revive ANY friendly teammates.
- You won’t see non-squad teammates until you land.
