Microsoft has penned a multi year deal for live on-demand sports content, tagged at 60FPS, to come to Xbox One. NeuLion is a giant in the internet television field, with contracts to provide programs from nearly all the major sports companies, including ESPN, NBA, NHL, NFL, UFC, as well as several smaller leagues and sports, including local sports teams. These sports programs will be modified to work with Xbox One functionality, so with this deal, Microsoft has nearly all its sports programming taken care of. Of course, this continues to be a big push for the console to bring entertainment, rather than gaming.
