Planet Coaster is on sale for just $11.24; more on Humble Store

Crazy coasters

The Humble Store is dropping some hot deals yet again. Another sales series is currently underway, dubbed the “Humble Greatest Hits Sale.” This sale is covering hot titles from a variety of publishers. When it comes to one company in particular, Frontier Developments, one of their most popular titles is none other than Planet Coaster.

A love letter from the team that designed the wonderful Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 many moons ago, Planet Coaster continues to stand as one of the highest-rated amusement-park building tycoon simulators despite it having first released all the way back in 2016. Even with its age, it’s been regularly updated many times over the years, and new content is constantly flowing in on a daily basis thanks to the efforts of its talented community that continue to post their numerous creations over on the Steam Workshop.

As part of the Humble Greatest Hits Sale, Planet Coaster can currently be nabbed for a mere $11.24 for the next four days (as of the time of writing).

Just as a word of warning, however, make sure you check out the system requirements as this title is known for being relatively demanding—particularly for rigs with older cards.

Frontier future

Later this year, Frontier will be releasing a cousin of sorts to Planet Coaster named Planet Zoo, which will fall in the same vein as Microsoft’s classic Zoo Tycoon series. Just like with Planet Coaster, Frontier’s goal with Planet Zoo is to bring back the formula that fans love from the retro series and revitalize it for a modern age.

More games, more sales

If Planet Coaster isn’t your thing, keep in mind there are many other games currently on sale over at the Humble Store, such as DiRT Rally 2.0 (and the original), F1 2018, Project CARS 2, and Cities Skylines, just to name a few.
