Underworld Ascendant Is New Kickstarter From Creator of Thief, System Shock, Ultima

Veteran developer Paul Neurath is set to launch a Kickstarter for Underworld Ascendant, a spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld.

He headed development for Ultima Underworld in 1992 with Looking Glass Studios, and apparently he spent the past few years talking to Electronic Arts about making an official sequel.

Now, he’s decided to make a spiritual successor under a new indie studio, OtherSide Entertainment.
