Yoan Fanise, director for Valiant Hearts, has left Ubisoft to strike out on his own.

Fanise spoke about making Valiant Hearts and the common accusation that the game is a fake indie.

I mean, business-wise, even if the game is a success, with over a million players and many awards, this is still small revenue compared to blockbusters. That’s the harsh reality.

Fanise is hopeful that he will see better success now that he has struck out on his own.
