TESO Tamriel Unlimited has gone live, completing the game’s transition to F2P.

The shift means the introduction of a new currency, crowns, which can be used to buy in-game items and DLC. There is still an ESO Plus membership, which will give you your share of crowns and access to DLC, but the old subscriptions model is done.
You will need Xbox Live Gold and/or PlayStation Plus to play the game on those consoles, but for PC, you can go ahead and download and start playing it now.
