The supremely impressive indie action game Joylancer has now launched version 1.6.

At first glance, the game may look like a run-of-the-mill retro platformer, but don’t let appearances fool you. Joylancer is an incredible action game in the same vein as Platinum’s and Treasure’s games, only in 2D.
Version 1.6 introduces Frame Skip, a feature for lower spec PCs, an updated input system, more combat mechanics, new enemies, rebalancing, and more playable areas.
Joylancer is available now on itchio, Steam Early Access, and Humble.
