Piranha Bytes and Nordic Games are collaborating to bring you ELEX, a hand-crafted action RPG set in a brand new post-apocalyptic science fantasy universe. Players get to explore a “seamless game world full of original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices and powerful action.”
ELEX stands for “Eclectic, Lavish, Exhilarating, Xenial.” That sounds plenty ambitious, and we like it. Judging by the concept art, the world of ELEX is going to be very gray, but we’re hoping that doesn’t translate to boring! “We can’t wait to show you a completely new game experience with a fresh setting, new assets and plenty of possibilities,” says Björn Pankratz, Game Director at Piranha Bytes.
Not much else has been revealed about ELEX, other than a late 2016/early 2017 release date and a preview of the game at Gamescom come August.
